RIVCHPP, in collaboration with the Association of Public Health of Nigeria, and Health stream Medicare, commemorated world health day 2025 in Rivers State.
The celebration had in attendance notable health personnel including the Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Health, Dr Comfort Mekele Comfort, Dr. Vetty Rolegherighan Agala, Ag. Executive Secretary, Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP), Prof. Abdulganiyu Giwa, State. Director, World Health Organisation, Dr. Kene Tarfaa, national president, Association of Public Health of Nigeria, Dr. Aloni Adolphus Alali, Rivers State Chairman, APH PN, Dr. Awuri Luke of Community Health Department, Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, and Dr. Simene of Clinton Health Access Initiative.
The celebration featured health talks, deworming of children, enrollment into RIVCHPP programme, and harvesting of testimonies of satisfactory services from RIVCHPP's enrollees.
