Enrolment Flag off for the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) Beneficiaries
It was a great delight as we officially flagged off enrollment for 100,000 Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) by Rivers State Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP) led by Ag. ES Dr Vetty Agala.
His Excellency the Executive Governor of Rivers State Sir. Siminalayi Fubara, GSSR launched the RIVCHPP and flagged off Enrollment by being enrolled himself together with his Deputy Her Excellency Prof. Ngozi Odu DSSRS
It was a two in one celebration at Ndoni as it was also the official opening of the newly rebuilt Model Primary Health center built by the former Governor of Rivers State Sir Dr. Peter Odili CON.
Among the esteemed dignitaries present were the Retired Judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Mary Odili( RTD),Honourable Commissioner of Health Rivers State Dr Adaeze Chidnma Oreh, the Chief Medical Director of Rivers State University Teaching Hospital Prof. Chizindu A. Alikor, the Executive Secretary of Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board, Prof. Kinikanwo Green, National President of the Medical Women's Association of Nigeria, Prof. Rosemary Ogu, the Chairman of the RSPHCMB, Prof. Blessing Jaja
The Ag. Executive Secretary of RIVCHPP Dr Vetty Agala explained that kick starting the enrollment of beneficiaries into the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) will grant access to pregnant women, aged persons, children under five and persons living with disabilities financial access to healthcare leaving no one behind.
The Governor flagged off the enrollment and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring #Health4AllRivers
Indeed, we are grateful to be a part of this great feat, not just for the people of Ndoni but for all Rivers people.
