Partnership meeting with the Rivers State Hospitals Management Board(RSHMB)
The Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP) strengthens partnerships to improve healthcare access and coverage across the state. Dr. Vetty Agala, the Executive Secretary of RIVCHPP, met with the management of the Rivers State Hospital Management Board (RSHMB) and heads of general hospitals. Dr. Agala emphasized the importance of their continued support in achieving universal health coverage, as outlined by Governor Siminalayi Fubara. She explained their roles and responsibilities in the social health insurance scheme as providing secondary care following referral from the primary care providers. The meeting was interactive, addressing questions and concerns raised. The RSHMB and hospital heads appreciated Dr. Agala's efforts in striving for #Health4AllRivers, reflecting RIVCHPP's commitment to Financial Risk Protection for All Rivers.
