Basic HealthCare Provision Fund Implementation Training for Local Government Areas Social Mobilisation Officers and SBCC
In a bid to improve health insurance awareness and generate demand for access to care, the Ag Executive secretary RIVCHPP, Dr Vetty Agala had an interactive session with Local Government Area (LGA) Social mobilization officers and the Social Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) team to train them on the ongoing enrollment and access to Basic health care provision fund (BHCPF) programme.
Dr Agala encouraged the team to use all strategies to inform those in the rural areas on the benefits of the BHCPF. She noted that all hands must be on deck to support the vision of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Rivers state Sir. Siminalayi Fubara, GSRSS towards achieving Universal health coverage (UHC)
They pledged their unalloyed support to the success of the programs under the agency and asked for more engagements.
