Stakeholders Meeting with Labour Unions
Dr Vetty Agala, Ag Executive secretary RIVCHPP met with leaders of various labour unions in the state led by Comrade Chuku Emecheta, chairman Joint Public Sector Negotiating Council.
Dr Agala thanked the leaders for granting her audience, she gave them a brief overview of the RIVCHPP journey, milestones achieved, health plans for formal sector. She emphasized their roles as major stakeholder as we strive to achieve the mandate of #Health4AllRivers by His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS. Highlighting a few of their roles to include demand generation for access to health insurance for civil servants, myth bursting and mobilizing members for health insurance.
Comrade Emecheta Chuku on behalf of the group commended ES RIVCHPP for all her effort in ensuring success of the agency’s goals and assured her that the need and importance of enrolling in the state social health insurance scheme would be conveyed to all their members.
