Inauguration of the Human Resource for Health Desk Officers-Health Workforce Registry Technical Working Group and the State Human Resource for Health Technical Working Group (SHRH TWG).
The Ag Executive Secretary RIVCHPP, Dr Vetty Agala and her team were present at the inauguration of the Human Resource for health desk officers- health workforce registry technical working group and state human resource for health technical working group(SHRH TWG).
Vetty Agala in her goodwill message thanked the Honourable Commissioner for health,Adaeze Oreh her strategic leadership and guidance in the hashtag#Health4AllRivers journey. She noted that human resource for health is a strategic pillar in the WHO health systems building block and the National Strategic Health Development plan putting all others together. A motivated, right mix, rightly skilled and rightly distributed staff is critical for the delivery of equitable quality healthcare which is a cornerstone of the RIVCHPP mandate. Without human resource nothing much can be achieved even with all other building blocks. She emphasized that the TWG is very necessary for HRH data management in the face of the japa syndrome.
The Honourable commissioner of health, Dr Adaeze Oreh during the inauguration reminded all that skilled and motivated human resources are key to delivering quality healthcare. She charged members of the technical working groups to be effective in their new roles.
Some staff of the agency would serve in the technical working groups, their roles include Using HRH tools to analyze data for SHRH, promote the use of HWR data in state level policy formulation, facilitate availability of HRH data for planning, management, and development of bulletins periodically….etc
