Primary Health Care Facilities Accreditation
In line with our commitment to achieve comprehensive healthcare coverage and reduce out-of-pocket expenses in Rivers State, this week, the Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP), in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA) launched a 5-day Basic Health Care Provision Fund (#BHCPF) facilities assessment & accreditation visit to PHCs.
Dr. Adaeze Oreh, the Honourable Commissioner for Health in Rivers State, flagged off the exercise at the Model Healthcare Center in Orogbum, Port Harcourt. The Executive Secretary, RIVCHPP Dr Vetty Agala was accompanied by the NHIA Director South South Zone, Pharm. Ajodi Nuhu and the NHIA Rivers state coordinator, Mr. Itodo Chris (JP).
