AugustRIVCHPP SURPASSES 20,000 BHCPF BENEFICIARY ENROLLMENTS
The Rivers State Contributory Health Protection Programme (RIVCHPP) has achieved a significant milestone, enrolling over 20,000 beneficiaries into the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF). This success is attributed to the efforts of Dr. Vetty Agala, Ag. Executive Secretary of RIVCHPP, who facilitated the training of additional enrollment officers for BHCPF implementation.
Collaborating with the Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board during the first round of the 2024 Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) week, held from July 22nd to 26th, the enrollment officers conducted extensive outreach across all Local Government Areas in Rivers State. Their efforts significantly increased BHCPF beneficiary registrations.
RIVCHPP remains dedicated to supporting Governor Siminalayi Fubara's administration in achieving comprehensive healthcare coverage for all Rivers State residents. We are also grateful for the strategic leadership of Dr. Adaeze Oreh, Honourable Commissioner for Health.
